ASTROLOGER ONBOARDING TERMS AND CONDITIONS

1. INTRODUCTION
These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern the onboarding, registration, and participation of astrologers on the astrology consultation platform operated by Raahni Astrolife Services Pvt Ltd (hereinafter referred to as the "Company", "Platform", "we", "us", or "our").
By registering on the Platform, accessing the system, or clicking "I Agree", the Astrologer or Consultant confirms that they have read, understood, and agreed to be legally bound by these Terms.
2. NATURE OF THE PLATFORM
2.1 The Platform operates as a technology marketplace and intermediary connecting users seeking astrology guidance with independent astrologers.
2.2 The Company does not provide astrology services directly.
2.3 The Company does not verify or guarantee the accuracy, reliability, or outcome of predictions made by astrologers.
2.4 The Platform provides only the technology infrastructure including chat, voice, video consultation, and payment systems.
3. INDEPENDENT CONSULTANT STATUS
3.1 Astrologers registered on the Platform act as independent consultants.
3.2 Nothing in these Terms shall create:
- Employer–employee relationship
- Partnership
- Joint venture
- Agency relationship
3.3 Astrologers do not have the authority to represent or legally bind the Company.
4. ELIGIBILITY
To register as an astrologer on the Platform, the Consultant confirms that:
- They are at least 18 years of age
- They possess knowledge and experience in astrology or related spiritual services
- All information provided during onboarding is true, accurate, and complete
The Company reserves the right to approve or reject any astrologer application at its sole discretion.
5. SERVICES PERMITTED ON THE PLATFORM
Astrologers may offer consultation services including but not limited to:
- Vedic Astrology
- KP Astrology
- Tarot Reading
- Numerology
- Palmistry
- Horoscope Interpretation
- Spiritual or life guidance
The Company may add or restrict service categories at its discretion.
6. PROFESSIONAL CONDUCT
Astrologers must maintain professional, ethical, and respectful communication with users.
Astrologers must NOT:
- Provide fear-based predictions
- Predict death or fatal events
- Create psychological pressure or panic
- Manipulate users emotionally
- Guarantee specific life outcomes
- Exploit user vulnerabilities
Astrologers must present astrology guidance as spiritual guidance and interpretation only.
7. PROHIBITED ACTIVITIES
Astrologers are strictly prohibited from:
- Selling gemstones, remedies, rituals, or products without platform approval
- Asking users to make payments outside the platform
- Sharing personal phone numbers or WhatsApp contacts
- Redirecting users to private consultations
- Promoting third-party services without authorization
- Using abusive or discriminatory language
- Sharing confidential user data
Violation of these policies may lead to immediate suspension or termination.
8. MENTAL HEALTH AND CRITICAL SITUATIONS
If a user expresses:
- Depression
- Suicidal thoughts
- Severe emotional distress
- Self-harm intentions
The astrologer must immediately advise the user to consult a licensed doctor, psychologist, psychiatrist, or appropriate medical professional.
Astrologers must not attempt to handle such cases independently.
9. CONSULTATION RECORDING
For safety, dispute resolution, and quality monitoring:
- Chat consultations may be recorded
- Voice consultations may be recorded
- Video consultations may be recorded
These recordings may be stored by the Company for purposes including:
- Quality monitoring
- Fraud prevention
- Dispute resolution
- Research and analytics
- Artificial intelligence processing and training
By using the Platform, the astrologer consents to such recording and storage.
10. DATA COLLECTION AND PRIVACY
The Platform may collect and process astrologer data including:
- Profile information
- Consultation history
- Performance metrics
- Communication logs
Data shall be handled in compliance with:
- The Information Technology Act, 2000
- Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023
- Other applicable Indian laws
11. PAYMENT AND REVENUE SHARE
Users shall pay consultation charges through the Platform wallet system or approved payment methods.
The Company may deduct platform commission from each consultation before processing payouts to astrologers.
The Company reserves the right to modify:
- Commission percentage
- Payout cycle
- Minimum withdrawal limits
Astrologers are responsible for their tax filings and financial compliance.
12. PERFORMANCE MONITORING
The Platform may monitor:
- User ratings
- Complaint frequency
- Response time
- Consultation quality
- Session duration
Astrologers with consistently poor ratings or repeated complaints may face:
- Warnings
- Temporary suspension
- Permanent removal from the platform
13. LIABILITY DISCLAIMER
Astrology is a belief-based interpretative practice. The Company does not guarantee prediction accuracy.
The astrologer assumes full responsibility for:
- Predictions made
- Advice given
- Statements made during consultations
The Company shall not be liable for:
- Financial losses
- Personal decisions made by users
- Relationship outcomes
- Emotional distress
- Business decisions
- Health outcomes
- Any indirect or consequential damages
14. INDEMNIFICATION
The astrologer agrees to indemnify and hold harmless the Company from any claims, losses, damages, legal costs, or liabilities arising from:
- Advice provided by the astrologer
- Negligence
- Misconduct
- Breach of these Terms
- Violation of applicable laws
15. CONFIDENTIALITY
Astrologers must keep confidential:
- User data
- Platform business information
- Internal systems
- Platform technology
Confidentiality obligations shall continue even after termination of the account.
16. NON-CIRCUMVENTION
Astrologers must not bypass the platform by:
- Sharing personal contact details
- Offering off-platform consultations
- Redirecting users to other services
Violation may result in:
- Immediate account termination
- Forfeiture of earnings
- Legal action
17. ACCOUNT SUSPENSION OR TERMINATION
The Company reserves the right to suspend or terminate astrologer accounts if:
- Policies are violated
- Misconduct is reported
- Fraud is suspected
- User safety is compromised
Termination may occur without prior notice in serious cases.
18. PLATFORM MODIFICATIONS
The Company may update:
- Platform features
- Commission structures
- Service policies
- These Terms and Conditions
Continued use of the platform after such updates constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
19. FORCE MAJEURE
The Company shall not be liable for failure or delay in services due to events beyond its control including:
- Natural disasters
- Cyber attacks
- Technical outages
- Payment gateway failures
- Government restrictions
20. GOVERNING LAW
These Terms shall be governed by the laws of India.
Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of courts located in Kolkata, West Bengal, India.
21. ELECTRONIC ACCEPTANCE
By clicking "I Agree", the astrologer confirms that:
- They have read and understood these Terms
- They agree to comply with all policies
- They accept that this electronic agreement is legally binding
